About Us
Women Workers Help Line (WWHL) was established in January 2000. During the last ten years, it has made tremendous efforts to resolve working women problems; ranging from workplace difficulties to legal issues. WWHL launched campaigns, organized rallies, seminars, workshops and dialogues to highlight women issues and create awareness about constitutional and legal rights of women.
WWHL is a national- level member-based organization. It is an independent, non-profit making, non-governmental organization, registered under the Societies Act (1860), with its secretariat office in Lahore, Pakistan.
WWHL has following major program areas:
Organization and Mobilization among Women and Girls
Women Political Education and Equal Representation at Decision Making Level
Awareness, Advocacy & Lobbying for Legal Rights
Community Based Area Development Program
Strong Networking with National, Regional & International Movements
