To monitor Millennium Development Goals related to health, education and water at union council level it is very important to create and enhance people’s participation in planning and monitoring system. For that purpose it is very important to create awareness among the people about their right to information, and to increase their understanding about democracy, transparency and accountability procedures.

Group formation for ELBAG Activities
A group has been formed at the district level to analyze and monitor the allocated budget for different sectors including education, health and safe drinking water. This group will also monitor and evaluate the union council’s funds utilization. WWHL is organizing the communities and mobilize people to participate and monitor the union council’s funds in their respective areas.
